The inspiration for the Cardboard Vase grew out of the desire to remove the distance between the client and the product. The vase can be returned at any time, and the value of the material will be refunded.

As pewter is the fourth precious metal, the vase can be seen as a material investment. The manufacturer, in turn, can melt it again to produce a new product. It’s a win-win situation for the customer, the manufacturer and the environment.

As facilities were restricted during the first lockdown, the concept of pouring pewter straight into a cardboard mold was developed.
